Create Your First Campaign
| Campaign Name | A descriptive name for your campaign (e.g., "Summer 2026 Restaurant Campaign") |
|---|---|
| Hashtag | A unique hashtag creators use in their posts (e.g., #JoePizzaFW) |
| Monthly Reward Pool | The total amount to distribute each month (e.g., $1,000) |
| Location Radius | Geographic area for scoring (e.g., 15 miles from your business address) |
| Scoring Weights | How much to value each action type (website visits, QR scans, coupons, direction requests) |
Invite Creators
There are three ways to add creators to your campaign:
Share Campaign Link
Post your campaign link on social media. Creators apply with their handles.
Direct Invite
Add creators manually by TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube handle.
Creator Network
Browse creators already verified on LocalReach in your area.
Each creator automatically receives unique tracking codes upon approval: a branded link, a QR code image, and a coupon code. They use these in their content to earn verified scores.
How Scoring Works
Every tracked action contributes to a creator's score based on location, action type, and weight.
Location Multipliers
| Location | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Within radius (same city/area) | 1.0x |
| Same state, outside radius | 0.5x |
| Same country, different state | 0.25x |
| International | 0.0x |
Action Weights
| Action | Default Weight | Customizable? |
|---|---|---|
| Website visit | 1.0 | Yes |
| QR code scan | 2.0 | Yes |
| Coupon redemption | 5.0 | Yes |
| Direction request | 3.0 | Yes |
| Phone call | 4.0 | Yes |
Verified Local Actions
LocalReach verifies the location of every tracked action using multiple signals:
- IP geolocation: Approximate city, state, and country from visitor IP
- Device signals: Browser timezone, language, and locale
- QR scan coordinates: GPS from mobile device when available
- Coupon redemption: Location provided at point of sale
We never collect exact addresses or personal location data without consent. Location is used solely for scoring and fraud prevention.
Payout Calculations
Creator Payout = (Creator Score / Total Campaign Score) x Reward Pool
Example: A campaign has a $1,000 monthly pool. Total verified score across all creators is 5,000 points. Creator A has 1,000 points.
Creator A's payout: (1,000 / 5,000) x $1,000 = $200
Payouts are processed monthly via ACH, PayPal, or Stripe Connect. Business accounts review and approve final payout amounts before distribution.
Campaign Builder
The campaign builder walks you through setting up:
- Basic info: Name, description, campaign dates
- Location settings: Business address and radius
- Budget: Monthly reward pool amount
- Scoring weights: Customize value of each action type
- Creator requirements: Minimum followers, platform preferences
- Payout schedule: Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly
Tracking Codes
Each creator receives three types of tracking codes:
Branded Tracking Link
e.g., localreachrewards.com/r/joespizza-mike
Every click logs the visitor's location, device, and referrer. The creator gets credit for the traffic they drive.
QR Code
Unique QR image for each creator
Creators add QR codes to Stories, printed materials, and posts. Scans capture location coordinates when available.
Coupon Code
e.g., MIKE10, SARAH15
Unique discount codes attribute purchases to specific creators. Redemptions are worth 5x the points of basic clicks.
Reviewing Submissions
When creators submit content, you can:
- Approve: Content is verified and counts toward scoring
- Reject: Content does not count; let creator know why
- Flag for review: Escalate to admin if suspicious
Submissions show the creator's current score, geographic breakdown of their traffic, and fraud indicators. Review regularly to catch issues before payout.
Joining Campaigns
As a creator, you can join campaigns in three ways:
- Apply via campaign link: Businesses share links on social media. Apply with your handle and wait for approval.
- Direct invite: A business invites you directly via your TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube handle.
- Creator marketplace: Browse open campaigns in your area and apply to ones that fit your audience.
Submitting Content
After joining a campaign, submit your content for tracking:
- Use your tracking link in bio, Stories, and posts
- Add your QR code to visual content (Stories, printed materials)
- Share your coupon code with followers for bonus points
- Submit post URLs through your creator dashboard
- Include the campaign hashtag in captions
Earning Payouts
Your payout is proportional to your verified local score. The more local engagement you drive, the more you earn.
Tips to Maximize Earnings
- Create content that appeals to local audiences
- Use QR codes in Stories where scannable
- Encourage followers to use your coupon code
- Post when your local audience is active
- Engage with local comments and DMs
Payouts are sent to your connected payment method at the end of each billing cycle. Connect PayPal or bank account in your creator settings.
Fraud Detection
LocalReach automatically detects and flags suspicious activity:
High International Traffic
Flagged when claiming a local audience but metrics show otherwise.
Suspicious Ratios
Engagement ratios that don't match typical user behavior.
Click Farming
Same IP or device generating repeated events rapidly.
Bot Traffic
Non-human patterns detected via behavioral analysis.
Flagged submissions appear in your review queue. You can approve, reject, or escalate to admin. Trust scores become multipliers on flagged accounts.
